OBS Studio Setup (1080x1920)

Step-by-step instructions for configuring OBS Studio canvas resolution, vertical TikTok aspect ratio, and Browser Source performance optimization.

Step 1: Set Canvas to 1080x1920 Vertical

In OBS Studio, navigate to Settings → Video.
Set Base (Canvas) Resolution to 1080x1920.
Set Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1080x1920.
Set Common FPS Values to 60 (or 30 for low-spec PCs).
Click Apply and OK.

Step 2: Add & Configure Browser Source

When adding the MCTik Overlay as a Browser Source in OBS:

Width: 1080
Height: 1920
FPS: 60
Custom CSS: Leave default (body { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); margin: 0px auto; overflow: hidden; }).
Check Control audio via OBS if you want to adjust widget sound volume directly from the OBS Audio Mixer.

Step 3: Enable Hardware Acceleration

Browser Source GPU Acceleration

In OBS Studio, go to Settings → Advanced → Sources and ensure Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration is checked. This offloads CSS3 animations and 3D effects from the CPU to your GPU.
